The Chevrolet Corvette C5 (1997-2004) ST-246 twin-disc clutch kit includes a billet chromoly steel flywheel with a precision register for the clutch assembly to ensure optimal clutch/flywheel balance. A spacer for the OEM release bearing is also included.

Unlike many "performance clutches" on the market that are OEM-type stamped steel pressure plates with an added floater, the ST-246 clutch was designed from the ground up as a true performance twin-disc clutch. Featuring an aluminum clutch cover that shares technology with Tilton’s championship-winning OT-series racing clutches, the ST-246 clutch uses heavy-duty straps to attach the pressure plate and floater plate to minimize noise. The ST-246 clutch can be used with either sprung-hub organic discs for street applications or solid-hub cerametallic discs for street/strip applications.
The precision-machined aluminum clutch cover provides higher strength, rigidity, and better balance than OE-type stamped steel covers.
The high-mass main pressure plate and floater plate, machined from the same proprietary materials used in Tilton's racing clutches, provide high heat capacity and resist warping. Heavy-duty straps attach the plates to the cover to minimize noise and ensure clean clutch release.
The organic disc option, featuring a sprung center hub to dampen engine vibrations and reduce gearbox noise, provides smooth engagement for street use and holds 850 lb-ft of torque.
The ceramic disc option features a solid center hub for increased strength, providing positive and precise engagement characteristics for street/strip use, and holds 1250 lb-ft of torque.
The chromoly steel flywheel provides high strength and long-term durability. It features a precision register to locate the clutch and provide optimal balance, as opposed to the loose bolts or dowels used in stamped steel clutches.

Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic Japanese shipping, international delivery takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please order with ample time. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to check the delivery time. Note that all items are shipped via air freight. They are never shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
The products we handle are basically all designed and manufactured outside of Japan.
