BC high-performance camshafts are ground on state-of-the-art CNC cam grinders, ensuring accuracy and tolerances within 0.02mm. Every BC camshaft profile is prototyped and dyno-tested to prove horsepower results before being released for production. Brian Crower, Inc. is able to pass cost savings on to the end user by grinding cores in high volume. Quality at an affordable price. Every BC cam is checked with sub-micron precision high-speed measurement gauges. The Adcole camshaft measurement system uses individual measuring heads for each cam journal and cam lobe, taking one data point every 1/10th of a degree—3,600 data points per revolution—with a resolution of 0.01 microns. This model, which measures camshafts for lift error and chatter mark detection, can measure 200 parts per hour.
