Designed, developed, and thoroughly tested in the punishing Australian environment, these big-bore, position-sensitive bypass shock absorbers with remote reservoirs are designed to be installed as a bolt-on solution without requiring vehicle modifications. They combine a comfortable ride on city streets with exceptional chassis control and handling off-road, thanks to extensive end-zone damping. Damping performance is easily adjustable for both rebound and compression, allowing for custom tuning to match your driving conditions and vehicle setup. The body, reservoir, and components are manufactured from 6061 T6 aluminum and finished with a Type 3, 40-micron hard-anodized coating for superior heat dissipation, corrosion resistance, and protection against stone damage. Designed, developed, and tested by ARB’s Old Man Emu ride engineering team, all BP-51 shock absorbers are manufactured in-house at ARB. This is supported by significant investment in state-of-the-art machining equipment, allowing for complete control over the production process and ensuring the highest quality product.
