These large-bore, position-sensitive internal bypass shock absorbers feature a bolt-on design developed and tested to provide superior ride comfort on city streets and exceptional chassis control and handling off-road through increased end-zone damping. BP-51 shock absorbers provide increased damping at both ends of the stroke based on piston position and velocity. This maintains a comfortable, supple ride during normal driving while improving control in difficult terrain and preventing harsh topping and bottoming out on uneven surfaces. Damping performance is widely adjustable for both rebound and compression, allowing you to customize your driving performance to suit road conditions, vehicle load, and personal preference. The body, reservoir, and all components are made from aircraft-grade 6061 T6 aluminum, with a Type 3 40-micron hard-anodized finish for superior heat dissipation, corrosion resistance, and protection against stone chips. Designed, developed, tested, and manufactured entirely in-house by ARB's Old Man Emu engineering team to ensure the highest quality, all BP-51 shock absorbers come with a 3-year warranty.
