The advantage of the Air Locker lies in its pneumatically operated locking system inside the differential. When activated, it stops the internal differential gears from rotating, preventing the axle shafts from rotating independently of each other. By forcing both wheels to rotate in sync with the ring gear, maximum traction is maintained at all times. When unlocked, it functions as a standard open differential. Vehicles equipped with an Air Locker can be driven at lower speeds with greater safety and control, significantly reducing both vehicle damage and environmental impact.
