Technical Notes:
It is well known that Honda's newer turbo platforms are very susceptible to heat soak, especially when retaining the factory intercooler. Excessive heat soak increases the risk of detonation and causes significant power loss due to high intake air and cylinder temperatures. These issues become even more prevalent with spirited driving or increased power output.
PRL Motorsports' intercooler upgrade lowers intake air temperatures while increasing potential airflow with a dense 27 x 3.5 x 7.25-inch bar-and-plate core rated for 550+ horsepower. Our intercooler core increases surface area by 85% and internal flow by 83% for optimal cooling and airflow.
This intercooler utilizes factory mounting points and all factory air ducts, featuring cast aluminum end tanks. *To maintain consistency with most of the PRL product line, the kit comes with all necessary hardware for a seamless installation.

If you order without confirming fitment, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if items are sorted by year, manufacturer, and model using the tabs on our home page, this does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.

○ Regarding Delivery
Shipping costs are paid at the time of settlement. An estimate of shipping costs will be calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping amount and the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually by email.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic Japanese delivery, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please order with time to spare. If you are in a hurry, please inquire about the delivery date in advance. All products are transported via air freight; they are never shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Compliance with Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)
All products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they do not conform to "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we are unable to provide documents such as strength calculation sheets for Japanese inspection purposes. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "circuit use, private property, or off-road use," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges for items with shipping damage, defective products, or incorrect items if notified within 7 days of receipt. Please understand that for products sold through us, warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
