This \"drop-in fit\" intercooler requires no modifications for installation and features a 5.5-inch (140 mm) thick lower\/larger section and a massive 8.25-inch (210 mm) tall front face. It is constructed using CSF's industry-exclusive rounded bar\/plate core design. The rounded front of the cooling bars allows for better airflow into the core. Airflow hits the core surface and travels around the rounded bar faces rather than scattering as it does when hitting the flat bar faces found on all competitor products, providing far better performance than the OEM design (flat bar face) and all other aftermarket competitors (which all feature flat-faced tubes or bars).
