Our CNC-machined billet aluminum MAF housing is designed to provide factory-spec fuel trims (within -4% of factory STFT and LTFT) for optimal drivability and performance. The Cobra CAI utilizes a 4-inch volume from the air filter to the MAF housing, and you can choose between two different MAF housings: Standard Bore and Big Bore. Both housings utilize the factory MAF sensor but feature two different diameters. As mentioned, the Standard Bore housing is designed to provide fuel trims to factory specifications without any tuning, while the Big Bore housing allows for 50% more airflow compared to the Standard Bore housing. This is why tuning is required.
