This upgraded bushing eliminates the side-to-side compliance (slop) in the stock shifter mechanism caused by the soft rubber bushing, significantly improving shifter feel. The bushing is made of 95A durometer urethane and includes everything needed for easy installation with simple hand tools. Made in the USA.

This shifter bushing upgrade is the perfect addition to a short shifter upgrade. A short shifter reduces shifter throw and can lower the height of the shift knob, making shift precision even more critical. The Cobb Tuning Shifter Bushing for Subaru 5-speed transmissions improves shift precision and feel when used in conjunction with a short shifter.

Features

95A durometer

Black urethane

Direct replacement

Benefits

Eliminates side-to-side slop in the stock shifter

Improves shifter feel

Applications

2002–2014 Subaru WRX

2004–2008 Subaru Forester XT

2005–2009 Subaru Legacy GT

What's in the box?

1 x Shifter Bushing for 5-Speed Transmissions

Warranty

Cobb Tuning Standard Limited Warranty

Before Ordering

〇 Regarding Import Consumption Tax
At Shaftoya Shopping Site, we pay the import consumption tax incurred during importation on your behalf, so there will be no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.

〇 Verification of Compatibility
Since our product database is primarily based on North American vehicles (USDM), please verify whether the product can be installed on a Japanese vehicle (JDM) before placing your order.
