Thanks to its square bore and stroke design (both 86.0 mm), the 4B11T offers a broader torque curve and generates more torque than the 4G63 at all engine speeds. The redline starts at 7,000 rpm, with a fuel cut at 7,600 rpm to protect the engine. A semi-closed deck design, integrated ladder frame, and 4-bolt main bearing caps contribute to the engine's strength and durability.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp align=\"justify\"\u003eUnlike the 4G63, the 4B11T does not use balancer shafts. Aluminum is used for the timing chain case and cylinder head cover. The engine features an electronically controlled throttle, a conformal short-port aluminum intake manifold, and a stainless steel exhaust manifold located at the rear of the engine.
