Because the size and shape of the intake were restricted by the OEM trunk panel, we redesigned it to accommodate a larger intake. We used transparent polycarbonate so that the carbon intake is visible when the trunk is open. By adopting a patented Venturi housing concept, the airflow path is significantly less convoluted as it passes through the filter, reducing system resistance. Furthermore, by increasing the overall volume of the intake, the flow rate is also increased, allowing maximum performance to be extracted even in high-power models. By utilizing the OEM air feed and using carbon fiber with low thermal conductivity throughout the walls, we have ensured a sealed system and minimized intake temperatures.
