It prevents the dissipation of valuable exhaust energy, which improves turbo RPM acceleration. This results in faster turbo spooling and reaching peak torque sooner. It also helps limit heat soak to adjacent components near the turbocharger.

The Cobb Tuning Turbo Blanket is designed to limit the amount of heat transferred from the turbocharger to the engine bay, and to keep high-temperature exhaust gases in the system to be expelled more quickly due to lower density. By limiting the amount of transferred heat, it extends the life of under-hood components, lowers intake temperatures, and improves vehicle response.

Constructed with a pulverized volcanic rock outer layer (rated for 1500°F direct heat / 1800°F radiant heat), and an interior made of high-temperature calcium magnesium silicate wool (rated for 1800°F direct heat / 2300°F peak heat).

Features

Compatible with 2015+ WRX stock or stock-replacement turbochargers

Improves turbo acceleration

Prevents heat soak to components near the turbocharger

Applications

2015-2021 Subaru WRX

What's in the box?

1 - Cobb Tuning Turbo Blanket

References

Installation Instructions

Warranty

Cobb Tuning Products, LLC warrants to the original retail purchaser that all components manufactured by Cobb Tuning, or sold under the Cobb Tuning brand, will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a limited period of 12 months from the date of purchase.

Before Ordering

○ Regarding Import Taxes
At Shaftoya Shopping Site, we pay the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so there will be no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.

○ Verification of Compatibility
Our entire product database is based on North American vehicles (USDM).
