Air enters through an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter, providing superior airflow, filtration, and performance. The air filter is relocated to the driver-side wheel well to lower intake air temperatures and increase horsepower. The intake tube is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum and finished with a durable gunmetal gray powder coat. This air intake system has been developed to accommodate the engine's factory emissions control devices, including the IAT sensor and crankcase breather hose. The tapered cylindrical AEM Dryflow air filter is made from an oil-free synthetic filter media and can be used for up to 100,000 miles (approx. 160,900 km) before cleaning is required, depending on driving conditions. The air intake system is backed by AEM's Lifetime Limited Warranty.
