This air intake system was developed to accommodate the engine's factory emissions control devices, including the engine breather hose. The tapered cylindrical AEM Dryflow air filter is made from oil-free synthetic filter media and can be used for up to 100,000 miles (approx. 160,000 km) before cleaning is required, depending on driving conditions. The air intake system comes with a limited lifetime warranty from AEM. Some AEM air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states that adopt California emissions standards, while others are legal in all 50 states.
