The Cobra CAI utilizes a 4-inch volume from the air filter to the MAF housing, with two different MAF housing options available: Standard Bore and Big Bore. Both housings utilize the factory MAF sensor, but have two different diameters; as mentioned, the Standard Bore housing is designed to provide factory-spec fuel trims without any tuning, while the Big Bore housing provides 50% more airflow compared to the Standard Bore housing. This is why tuning is required.
